2024-03-14 · 09:30

At the second stop of the "Raw Air Series" in Trondheim, Japan's Ryōyū Kobayashi and Austria's Stefan Kraft, who has dominated this season, were the winners

The Raw Air format this year meant that only the best 50 athletes after the jumps in Oslo were allowed to compete in Trondheim. Accordingly, there were no further qualifications. The competitions were held on the newly built and modernized normal and large hills.

Tuesday - Individual competition

There was an exciting competition for victory on the normal hill in Trondheim.

Ryōyū Kobayashi set a new hill record of 106 meters in the first round. This put him in the lead just 0.3 points ahead of Slovenia's Peter Prevc. Kobayashi and Prevc also came first and second in the final, this time with a gap of 0.9 points. This is the second World Cup victory of the season for the Japanese, who has already taken numerous second places.

Austria's Jan Hörl completed the podium, also just one point behind Prevc.

The overall leader of the Raw Air ranking Stefan Kraft finished fifth and was able to extend his lead over Johann André Forfang, who finished tenth.
