Oslo: Kraft and Forfang celebrate victories

Austria's Stefan Kraft and Norway's Johann André Forfang won the opening event of the "Raw Air Series" at Holmenkollen in Oslo.

The first of three stops on the Raw Air Tour was successfully completed. Anže Lanišek also returned to World Cup action at the weekend after recovering from a knee injury.

Daniel Huber surprisingly won the qualification on Friday. The Austrian took victory ahead of the two Norwegians Johann André Forfang and Marius Lindvik.

Saturday - Individual competition

In changeable wind conditions, Stefan Kraft was the best after the first round. He successfully defended his half-time lead and ultimately secured his 41st World Cup victory with a clear lead of 8.8 points. Second place went to Norway's Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal (246.2 points). Kraft's compatriot Jan Hörl completed the podium (242.5 points).

Daniel Huber landed in sixth place and continued to lead the overall Raw Air standings after the jump.

Sunday - Individual competition

After his victory on Saturday, Stefan Kraft also won the qualification for the second competition at Holmenkollen. However, Norway's Johann André Forfang secured the World Cup victory in front of his home crowd (261.0 points). Close behind was Japan's Ryōyū Kobayashi (260.0 points). Stefan Kraft came third (254.9 points) and thus took the lead in the Raw Air.

The action continues on March 12 and 13 in Trondheim. The new hills built for the 2025 Nordic World Championships will be used there.
