The ticket pre-sale for the 72nd edition of the Four Hills Tournament is underway.
The current pre-sale of tickets for the Four Hills Tournament, which has already been launched at tickets.vierschanzentournee.com, offers two new features. For the opening jump in Oberstdorf (December 28th and 29th), individual tickets for the competition and qualification are already available directly from the start of sales. In the other tour venues Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen, advance sales are staggered. Here, so-called combination tickets are available for the time being, which are equally valid for qualification and competition. From October 16 - if still available - one-way tickets will also be available. Also new: For the German tour venues Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, reduced tickets for both women's World Cup jumping events of the so-called 2-Nights-Tour can also be ordered via the tour presale, whereby there is the following combination here: Those who have a tour ticket pay only half price for the women's competitions at the same venue.
"We expect a similarly large rush as in previous years and ask all ski jumping fans to stock up on their tickets well in advance ", says tour president Dr. Peter Kruijer from Oberstdorf. Georg Geiger, chairman of the Oberstdorf ski club, explains the new individual ticket strategy for the opening jumping event as follows: "For us, the seat allotments are limited and therefore always the first to go. Now we want to give the visitors of the qualification the chance to get a seat even if it is already booked on the day of the competition." The background is the great popularity of the qualification in Oberstdorf. Last winter, 16,000 visitors already came here - an absolute record in the Ski Jumping World Cup.
Note: Fans should use official platform
The organizers of the Four Hills Tournament are again expecting particularly well-filled stadiums and more than 100,000 spectators this winter. As before, they explicitly point out to only purchase tickets via the official website tickets.vierschanzentournee.com. "In the past, unfortunately, dubious vendors have repeatedly sold tickets at significantly overpriced prices. We expressly warn against that," said Michael Maurer, president of the organizing committee at the New Year's ski jumping in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
