After the Olympic Games is before the World Cup in Lahti, Finland. Stefan Kraft won the opening event, Austria won the team event and in the last competition of the weekend Granerud and Kobayashi shared first place.
Friday - Individual Jumping
The Winter Olympics are behind us. Strength has been recharged. We are back in the World Cup! And Stefan Kraft opened this renewed start on European soil with a strong victory in Lahti, Finland. The Austrian was followed by Halvor Egner Graneerud from Norway and Piotr Żyła from Poland in third place.
Saturday - Team Jumping
In a very exciting final the Austrian quartet with Jan Hörl, Clemens Aigner, Ulrich Wohlgenannt and previous day's winner Stefan Kraft secured victory in team event. They left the team from Slovenia behind with a margin of 5.5 points and the DSV eagles placed on the 3rd rank.
Sunday - Individual Jumping
265.5 points had to be achieved to secure the day's victory in the individual competition and two athletes succeeded in doing so: Halvor Egner Granerud and Ryoyu Kobayashi! The Norwegian jumped 127 and 128.5 meters, while Ryoyu shone especially in the second round (125 and 130.5 meters). Austrian Stefan Kraft came in third with 124 and 128 meters and 271.3 points.
