For the first time, an Olympic mixed team competition took place. And it should cause a lot of furor. The only non-surprising news on this curious jumping - Slovenia deservedly wins gold.

Olympics - Zhangjiakou - the first mixed team competition at the Olympics and then the sport became so secondary. This competition was overshadowed by a total of five disqualifications: Sara Takanashi (JPN), Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT), Katharina Althaus (GER), Anna Odine Stroem (NOR) and Silje Opseth (NOR). Reason for the disqualifications have been the suit, more exactly the hip band. Thereby it is said to have been the same suits as in the women's individual competition. "The girls say in unison, they all jumped the same suits as in the individual competition. And everything fit there. This is an incomprehensible situation," said the German team manager Horst Hüttel. 

Back to the sport: the gold medal was won by the favorite, the team from Slovenia. Nika Kriznar, Timi Zajc, Ursa Bogataj and Peter Prevc convinced with all their jumps and were allowed to hang the gold medal around their necks. Second and third place went to the team of the Russian Olympic Committee and the team from Canada.
