Kobayashi and Granerud triumph in Zakopane

The World Championships in Oberstdorf are getting closer and Halvor Egner Granerud continues to present himself in top shape. But also Ryōyū Kobayashi presented himself in a good form.

Surprising final result on Saturday! The dominator of the 2018/19 season, Ryōyū Kobayashi, showed two strong jumps and thus secured his first World Cup victory this season. Only 0.3 points behind landed Poland's Andrzej Stękała, who celebrated the first podium finish of his career. Marius Lindvik came in 3rd, while his teammate Halvor Egner Granerud had to settle for 7th place. Markus Eisenbichler and Pius Paschke shared the 14th place as the best Germans.

Sunday

On Sunday the ski jumping fans saw a familiar face in 1st place. Halvor Egner Granerud won once again this winter. Anze Lanisek and Robert Johansson completed the podium. The German team disappointed also on Sunday. Markus Eisenbichler jumped to 12th place, Karl Geiger was the second best german jumper and finished 22nd.
