Team Norway has had a miraculous start into the RawAir tournament.
On Saturday, there was a team event scheduled in Oslo. Due to difficult wind conditions it was only possible to have one round. After Stephan Leyhe fell during the landing (he was well enough to later post the picture of the scene with a funny caption on social media, however he missed out on the competition of the following day due to problems with his ankle) Team Germany was out of the race for the podium. Norway showed the best performance, winning in front of Japan and Austria.
The following day the weather was better and the Norwegian spectators got to watch Robert “The flying moustache” Johansson take the win with Stefan Kraft (Austria) and Peter Prevc (Slovenia) securing their places on the podium.go back
