Tickets for the anniversary and premiere four hills tour
Pre-sale for the 75th Four Hills Tournament has begun!
Anyone who wants to be there when the anniversary coincides with this special premiere can secure their tickets now: tickets are now available for all venues of the 75th Four Hills Tournament for male and female ski jumpers. The 75th edition of the popular ski jumping series features a historic first: This winter, alongside the world’s best men, the world’s best women will also be competing for the Tour title.
A celebration of winter sport
“This will be a special celebration for ski jumping. We are all looking forward to the 75th edition of the Tour coinciding with the women’s debut,” says Tour President Manfred Schützenhofer from Bischofshofen.
This will also be the case for ski jumping fans, which is why Schützenhofer and his colleagues from the organising committees in Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck advise fans to secure their tickets as soon as possible through advance sales. At the last Four Hills Tournament, there were full houses in Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck.
When the qualification day becomes a competition day
With the inclusion of the Women’s World Cup events, the previous qualification days of the Four Hills Tournament will now also become competition days. On 28 and 31 December, and 2 and 5 January, the world’s best female ski jumpers will compete to determine the Tour champion; they will jump before the men’s qualification rounds, which will consequently be moved back in the schedule and held under floodlights at all four venues. The men’s competitions will take place the following day as usual.
“It’s really great that we’ve managed to integrate the women’s competitions seamlessly into the programme, as this significantly enhances the status of the previous qualification days,” says Michael Maurer, chairman of the Partenkirchen Ski Club and president of the organising committee for the New Year’s Ski Jumping.
Individual tickets available - Summer Deal in Austria
In Oberstdorf, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen, tickets for the individual event days are already on sale. Spontaneous bookers can save money on the two Ski Austria events in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen: The Summer Deal, offering discounted tickets at the early-bird price, remains valid until 21 September.
Concert on 31 December
In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, individual ticket sales begin on 12 October. During the first phase of advance sales, discounted combination tickets valid for both days of the event will initially be available. The organisers in Garmisch-Partenkirchen have come up with something very special for New Year’s Eve: after the sporting events, it’s time for music. Following the men’s qualifying round, German pop singer Leony will perform at the Olympic Stadium.
Important: use the official platform
The organisers of the Four Hills Tournament continue to explicitly advise that tickets should only be purchased via the official website.
“Unfortunately, in the past, unscrupulous sellers have repeatedly sold tickets at significantly inflated prices. We strongly warn against this,” says Max Obergruber, head of organisation for the Bergisel Ski Jumping event in Innsbruck.
Tip: Be quick for Oberstdorf
Anyone wishing to experience the opening event of the Tour in Oberstdorf live on site will, as is traditional, need to be quick off the mark.
“Our tickets sell out particularly quickly every year,” says Georg Geiger, chairman of the Oberstdorf Ski Club.
The opening event of the Tour is usually sold out within a few days.
