Domen Prevc with a double victory in Wisla
Domen Prevc dominated the World Cup weekend in Wisla, claiming victory in both individual competitions. Ryoyu Kobayashi (Japan) and Philipp Raimund (Germany) reached the podium on both days as well, swapping positions in Sunday’s event.

Qualification for the first individual competition took place on Friday. In front of an enthusiastic crowd in Wisla, Ryoyu Kobayashi delivered the best jump of the day to win the qualification round.
In Saturday’s competition, Slovenia’s Domen Prevc caught the attention of the crowd with a 136-metre jump in the first round, which gave him a comfortable lead. He confirmed his strong form with another strong jump to 130 metres in the final round to secure his first World Cup win of the season. Philipp Raimund finished in second place, followed by Kobayashi in third.
Sunday’s second individual competition showed a similar picture, although with a slightly different order on the podium. Prevc once again presented himself in excellent form and claimed his second win in Wisla, having already won the qualification earlier in the day. With these two wins in Wisla, he also takes over the yellow bib as the overall World Cup leader from his teammate Anže Lanišek. This time, Kobayashi finished second, while Raimund completed the podium in third.
A further highlight for the home crowd came from 18-year-old Kacper Tomasiak. Competing in front of his home fans, he achieved the best result of his career so far by finishing fifth on Sunday.
