Domen Prevc once again flying high in Klingenthal
Domen Prevc continues his strong form in Klingenthal, winning both individual competitions and extending his lead in the overall World Cup standings. In the qualification rounds, Philipp Raimund and Marius Lindvik set the pace.

The World Cup weekend in Klingenthal began on Friday with the qualification round. Philipp Raimund impressed with the longest jump of the day, flying 139.5 metres and setting an early highlight. His performance was well received by the crowd, who enjoyed seeing one of their athletes perform strongly.
In Saturday’s competition, Raimund missed out on the top positions, but third place marked his fourth consecutive podium finish. Once again, victory went to Slovenia’s Domen Prevc, who confirmed his strong form with another consistent performance. Stefan Kraft finished second. The Austrian returned successfully after missing the last two World Cup events. Earlier this week, he had been with his family for the birth of his daughter, making the podium finish even more special.
Sunday also started with a qualification round, where Marius Lindvik of Norway impressed with a jump of 142.5 metres. In the competition, Domen Prevc once again proved difficult to beat. With jumps of 141 and 140.5 metres, the Slovenian claimed victory by a margin of 13 points. Ren Nikaido of Japan finished second, ahead of his team-mate Ryoyu Kobayashi. Before his final jump, Kobayashi provided a brief moment of amusement when he realised he had left his start number in the athletes’ area, but it was delivered to him just in time.
