Slovenia's top jumper and winner of the 2015/16 Four Hills Tournament will end his active career at the end of the season.

Peter Prevc wants to complete his last jumps in front of his home crowd in Planica (March 22-23, 2024). After that, the eldest of the Prevc siblings will end his successful career, as he announced on his Instagram page and at a press conference on Tuesday, February 7.

Prevc competed in the World Cup for the first time in December 2009, where he immediately collected his first World Cup points. He won the first World Cup in 2014 in Tauplitz on the Kulm. His jump at the 2015 World Cup in Vikersund, Norway, where he was the first jumper to fly over the 250.0 meter mark, remains unforgettable. Peter Prevc's most successful season is the 2015/16 season. In addition to the golden eagle at the Four Hills Tournament, he also won the overall World Cup.

In total, Prevc finished on top in 23 World Cup competitions. He also enjoyed success at the World Championships, Ski Flying World Championships and Olympic Games, both as an individual and as part of the team and mixed team.

We congratulate Peter Prevc on his successful career and wish him all the best for the future!
