The Austrian has won the second single competition of the RawAir tournament.
He even outflew the Norwegian Robert Johansson who had to be okay with the second rank of the day. Third place went to Ryoyu Kobayashi.
Johansson, Kraft, Kobayashi – those three do not only form the podium of Lillehammer but (in this order) are also the over all leaders after half of the RawAir tournament which will continue already today with the qualification of Trondheim.go back
At the first ski flying of the season in Bad Mitterndorf, Austria, Piotr Zyla and Stefan Kraft can secure the victories. Karl Geiger missed as the best German on both days only narrowly the podium.
With two great jumps Stephan Leyhe secured his first World Cup victory in front of his home audience in Willingen on Saturday. Marius Lindvik and Kamil Stoch are also convincing and finish second and third.
The ski jumping weekend in Sapporo (Japan) had a lot to offer. The first World Cup jumping competition on Saturday was won by Yukiya Sato and on Sunday Stefan Kraft could not be passed. Of the German athletes, Stephan Leyhe, with the longest jump of the whole competition, could call up his best performance and secured the 2nd place on Sunday.
