More than 25,000 visitors on the competition day. Record ticket sales also for the qualification

Good news from the organisation team of the opening competition of the Fours Hills Tournament in Oberstdorf. More than two weeks before the tournament starts, it's clear that more visitors than ever before will be at the Schattenberg hill. All tickets for the competition on December 30th are already sold out. The Skiclub Oberstdorf and the Skisport-und Veranstaltungs GmbH are expecting more than 15.000 visitors for the qualification on December 29th. 

"More than 40.000 visitors on site, we've never had that before. It's going to be a massive opening", says the president of Skiclub Oberstdorf Dr Peter Kruijer and points towards the success of German athletes Richard Freitag and Andreas Wellinger, who are the leading two athletes in the current overall world cup standings.
