Lanisek in Tchaikovsky not to beat

Slovene pulverized the chancel. Dawid Kubacki (POL) has to relinquish the lead in overall standings.

Anze Lanisek won both competitions at the summer Grand Prix weekend in Tchaikovsky. After 10th place in the first round, he had a furious comeback on Saturday. With 143 meters he turned the tide and won in a dramatic final. Next to him two Russian athletes were able to do the jump on the podium. Evgeniy Klimov (132 and 137.5 m) and Denis Kornilov (136.5 and 127.5 m) finished second and third.

On the second day, especially the wind caused drama. In the end it was again Lanisek, who was on top of the standings. With an incredible jump to 109.5 meters he easily beat the hill record and stood once again on the top of the podium. The Japanese Junshiro Kobayashi (105 m) and Klimov (103 m) were on the podium as well.
