The German cannot continue the Four Hills Tournament after his crash at Innsbruck.

"After another medical check early today I recommended Richard Freitag not to continue at the Four Hills Tournament" said DSV team doctor Dr Mark Dorfmüller. "The contusions in the area of the left hip limit his possibilites to move in a big way and are also painful. Competitive sports under those circumstances doesnt' make sense."
