Ryoyu Kobayashi hat won a tight first jumping of the 67th four hills. Behind him on the podium: Markus Eisenbichler (Germany) and Stefan Kraft (Austria)
Kraft showed a especially convincing jump in the second round, earning him a few places forward. With Kobayashi, it was more of the opposite: he could only stay in the lead with 0,4 points in regards to Eisenbichler.
With a German jumper in the race for the win, the atmosphere in Oberstdorf was at its peak. After 15.500 spectators yesterday (world record for a qualification) it was no less than 25.500 of them today who celebrated a real ski jumping party, finding its decent end in the closing fire works.
Afterwards, the jumpers and their entourage just quickly got their stuff together and jumped into the cars – already tomorrow the qualification for the New Year’s Ski Jumping Event will be up.
