After the Four Hills Tournament the normal Ski Jumping World Cup continued on this weekend. Two competitions from the normal hill were held in Val di Fiemme, Italy. On both days it was the German Karl Geiger, who was happy about the victory in the end and thus also took the yellow jersey as overall World Cup leader.

On Saturday, only five days after the Four Hills Tournament, the German team in particular presented itself very strong. Constantin Schmid and Pius Paschke (fifth and eighth place) were happy about their best World Cup result. Grand Slam winner Kamil Stoch only just missed the podium on both days of competition and finished fourth.

A black day was caught on Saturday by the Norwegian Marius Lindvik, who came second in the Four Hills Tournament. He was disqualified because of his suit on Saturday. The following day the 21-year-old was happy about sixth place, with the Slovenian Peter Prevc equal on points.

Next weekend, the next home World Cup is scheduled for the German jumpers with the competition in Tittisee-Neustadt.
