Stefan Kraft has been "big in Japan": The Austrian won both competitions of Sapporo.
On day one, he was joined on the podium by Kamil Stoch and Robert Johansson. Johansson who had been in the lead after the first round is thus still waiting for his first worldcup win in a ski jumping competiton (he has, on the other hand, already been on top of the podium during a ski flying worldcup). Stoch could not get the win either, despite showing an incredible new hill record in the final round.
On Sunday Timi Zajc landed on second rank, followed by Ryoyu Kobayashi. His team mate Noriaki Kasai showed a good competition, too: He ended on seventh rank and is surely looking forward to the first ski flying competiton of the season that is due to start in Oberstdorf on friday.
